The Process of Hypnosis on the Subconscious Mind

relaxed

We all have a conscious mind. Hypnosis deals with your unconscious mind  or the inner mind by bypassing the conscious, logical, analytical mind.  Our beliefs and behaviors are within the unconscious mind, the conscious mind is responsible for guarding them.

So when someone says something you believe not to be true, your conscious mind may reject what they say.  Your subconscious mind is more emotional, holistic and symbolic in nature. When you are in hypnosis, you experience a deep sense of relaxation, this is not the same as ‘sleep’, there are many misconceptions surrounding hypnosis in the mainstream media because of this. When under hypnosis, a client will always have their morals and ethics intact, the client is always in control during a session.  Once a positive idea is accepted by the subconscious mind, the mind behaves as if it is true, therefore new  beneficial ideas can establish themselves in the inner mind transforming our old perceptions about ourselves, and dissolving old habits.

Each Hypnotherapy Session is tailor-made to suit each individual’s required needs.  During hypnosis,  you are taken into a deep relaxation where direct communication with the unconscious mind is established, where our minds and bodies are able to accept new ideas, therefore a sense of deep transformation is often experienced, whether it be conquering old behavioural patterns, phobias or anxieties, working on some self development issues, reducing physical pain, dissolving traumas,  exploring past lives, or simply for therapeutic relaxation. Hypnosis is a powerful form of therapy.
